About Mister Piggy Bank

Let Me Introduce Myself, Mr. Piggy Bank:

Oink!  My name is Mister Piggy Bank, and I’m here to help you make a little bit of sense out of money, finances, and maybe even life in general with no-nonsense, simple, and non-scammy advice and information that hopefully won’t leave you scratching your head.

I have a degree in Economics from Harvard College, and have been investing my own, hard-earned cash since I was a sophomore in high school.  I don’t day trade (that’s stupid), and live in Seattle, WA.

I believe in the old adage from the not-famous book How to Get Rich and Stay Rich by Fred J. Young that had a huge impact on how I view money: Spend less than you earn and invest the difference in something that goes up in value.  It’s stupidly simple, but couldn’t be more true.

Money isn’t everything, but it sure is an important tool; it may not buy happiness, but a lack of it sure will make you unhappy.

Let’s share what we know together and get rich!  Oink!
